Edilma y Ines – pink borbon – Huila, Colombia - Flavours combining great intensity and an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity: we taste orange semolina cake, cacao nibs, honeycomb and malty chocolate.
Small Batch has long championed the virtues of filter brewing, and in 2017 (when Golden Ticket was launched), we realised that a combination of two or three single origin coffees was a great way to go to produce maximum approachableness, a journey in flavour from hot to cool, the greatest balance of juiciness and sweetness, and – mostly importantly for a daily driver – consistent performance.
If you’ve not tried a filter blend before, thinking it won’t be as distinct or as good as a single farm or single varietal coffee, make sure you don’t miss this one.
