ice coffee = blasphemy?

When it's 38 degrees outside, this is the classiest way to stay cool - a ristretto poured over a soda water on ice, served in a picollo glass.

Being from an Italian background, I have been drinking ice coffee/espresso since I was at least 4 years old. We start early!
It wasn't until a few months ago that I started making/serving cold specialty coffee (candyman blend in particular) when I realised there is a whole new world of taste and coffee experience that hasn't yet been taken advantage.
I am so glad you have posted on this topic, especially in time for summer. I would love to see more iced coffee, be it Affogato or Ristretto on ice in all specialty coffee serving cafes. No more empty coffee shops in the summer = serve ice coffee and serve it well. There is so much taste in a cold cup, so thumbs up to it. Blasphemy I think not!
